NOTES FOR VISITORS WHO DO NOT SPEAK
TURKISH :
We prepared this web site hoping
that Turkish Adjudication which found a ground to attain computer technology
within the scope of the National Adjudication Network Project (UYAP) by which
it would catch the information era soon. And
hoping to contribute to this very aim.
The computer technology which we have lacked for years and
which is quite far from us -the adjudication people- besides its classical
advantages will mark an epoch in adjudication activities with internet
services, will enable information and experience sharing, which we always lock,
among the adjudiation people.
Another contribution we expect from the internet
environment via this and other web sites is to meet information needs of
persons and organizations that are directly or indirectly related to the
adjudication administrations but can not get to know the adjudication
organization due to the lack of appropriate communication media.
In line with these thoughts we respectfully greet all our
visitors and thank everyone who contributed to adjudication administrations
attaining such technological
opportunities.

Information on Zonguldak District
Administrative Court :
Zonguldak
District Administrative Court is one of the 25 local courts which only hears
administrative suits under the Turkish Adjudication Organization. The sphere of
jurisdiction of the Zonguldak District Administrative Court covers the cities
Zonguldak, Bartın, Çankırı, Karabük, and Kastamonu which are in the northwest
of Turkey on the Black Sea coast. The court organization is composed of one
Administrative Court and Tax Court besides the District Administrative Court,
and 42 people -14 judges and 28 officers- work at these courts.
The
case types heard at our courts are:
a)
Annulment suits
against administrative transactions
b)
Suits for damages by
those who suffer a loss due to administrative transactions and acts
c)
Suits regarding the
disputes between the parties due to administrative contracts to carry out one
of the public services, except for the disputes arising from privilige
contracts forseen by arbitration
d)
Suits related to the
charges and to financial issues such as taxes, duties and fees of the general
budget, provincial administration, municipality and villiages and raises and
penalties in these
e)
Suits regarding
collecting the receivables listed in the article (d)
Information on Zonguldak :
There are characteristics that
remind the cities. Speaking of Zonguldak, which has a history that can be
traced back to 1200 BC, the first thing that comes to mind is the coal,
so-called the black diamond, and compassionate workers who mine the coal and
who vitalize the mines.

Zonguldak, which entered Turkish dominance in 14th
century, is in the Black Sea Region of Turkey. This nice city, with it is 3.481
km2 (1.1 % of Turkey) and is surrounded by Bolu, Karabük and Bartın.
In line with the geaographic characteristics of the Black Sea Region the 48% of
Zonguldak is mountains. As to the climate of Zonguldak, it is on a temperate and rainy region and
approximate temperature over the year is 13.5

Zonguldak -beautiful city of our region which has hosted
several civilizations for centuries- still reserves its significance as a
commercial center with its coal mines and harbours both in the city center and
in nice subprovince Ereğli.
Besides being a mining city, Zonguldak is also an industrial center. With its
high quality iron and steel products Ereğli Iron and Steel Works (ERDEMİR) is a
forefront company of Turkish industry. The thermal power plant based on coal in
Çatalağzı Municipality is an important energy production facility. The attempts
to establish an industry region in Filyos river valey will turn the region into
an attraction center.

Zonguldak is among the cities which have achieved several
successes as to the education and learning. Karaelmas University, composed of 8
faculties, 1 college, 3 institutes and 8 occupational colleges, is a modern
education organization which serves at 6 different campuses. It is obvious that
this education organization, which has a vital role in the city life, will
contribute to the cultural and economic development of the city.

Depth
Although Zonguldak with its rich coal mines is usually
understood as a city of the black, it has both the colors green and blue with
its forests and sea. In not many cities the colors of the forests and sea
harmoniously surround each other with the black diamond. Zonguldak, a touristic
attraction center with its beaches, courses
for nature sports and woodcrafts special for the region, also has choices
regarding cave tourism. Cumayanı, Kızılelma, Sofular, Çayırköy, Gökgöl,
Cehennemağzı, Yassıkaya and Erçek Caves are wonders of nature. The 100. Holiday
Village established and ran by Bakaccakkadı Municipality, is an elite
accommodation facility for those who come to share the beauties of the region.
